Spring class at SWOCC -- Fly Fishing 101:

• One month, twice per week in evenings

• Both classroom and outdoor curricula

• Need not be club member to attend

$20 dues per year for family membership if you live

• within 50 miles; $10 if you live over 50 miles.                    

Fly tying classes in the spring for members and public.

About 8 SW Oregon outings per year for club;

• anytime outings with friends.

• Examples:

• Gold Lake weekend camp-out

• Rogue River weekend camp-out

• Tube-a-Rama on the Umpqua

• Fish-day on Lower Empire Lake

• Fish-day on Saunders Lake

• Fish-day on Powers Pond

Founded in 1990, we are a member-club of the Oregon Council of the Federation of Fly Fishers. A sister chapter is in Bandon and we cooperate on certain events.

Each year the club presents a one day EXPO on fly fishing during the winter months.  This EXPO includes guest speakers on fly fishing, exhibiters of fly casting equipment and demonstrations, and several of Oregon’s best fly tiers showing fly tying techniques.
